MBK After Hours Home Emergencies: If you experience an after-hours emergency (including weekends and holidays) MBK provides a 24-hour emergency answering service. Please call our emergency answering service at (800) 434-0944 and a Customer Care Associate will be notified immediately.

Emergency Service Guidelines: MBK defines emergencies as problems that require immediate attention to protect you and your family from harm and to avoid damage to your property, your home or your lot.

These emergencies include:

  • 100% stoppage of the plumbing drain system. If your plumbing system ceases to work, none of your sinks, tubs or toilets will function properly.
  • A water leak, which requires that the water supply to your home be shut off to avoid serious, water damage. A leak, which can be isolated by the shut-offs under the cabinet or plumbing fixture, is not an emergency. Please refer to the water shut off procedure in the Homeowner Portfolio.
  • 100% total electrical failure.
  • Loss of heating or air during extreme weather conditions.
  • Window/sealant leak or roof leak. If a window or roof leak allows water to enter your home, damaging your home or personal property, it should be reported as an emergency. However, it may be impossible or impractical to make repairs during a storm.

Luke Nakagawa Senior Analyst

Luke Nakagawa joined MBK Industrial in 2023 as a senior analyst. As an analyst, Luke underwrites wholly owned and Joint venture development opportunities in MIP’s target markets, along with various market research needed for investment committee packages, board packages, and other formal submittals.

Prior to joining MIP, Luke was a Capital Markets broker at Kidder Mathews. As part of the three-person team, Luke was responsible for financial analysis, property due diligence, and other marketing and transactional support. While at Kidder Mathews, Luke transacted over $300 million across industrial, office, and land sales in the west coast states.

Luke holds a BA and a concentration in Real Estate Economics from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo.

Joe Deverian Development Manager

Joe Deverian joined MBK in 2019 and has worked with their Rental Living and Industrial departments as a Development Manager. Direct responsibilities include due diligence, forward planning, entitlements, assembling of consultants, managing budgets and schedules, interfacing with governmental agencies and managing general contractors and development managers.

Prior to joining MBK, Joe has over 25 years of working experience in residential, commercial and hospitality land development projects for public and private companies. Joe holds a California states contractor’s license and has experience as a residential and commercial general contractor.

Joe earned a Bachelors in Business Administration & Finance from Point Loma Nazarene University, San Diego.
