MBK RENTAL LIVING AND DESCOR BUILDERS TEAM UP ON 408-UNIT LUXURY APARTMENT PROJECT IN WEST SACRAMENTO
Construction is underway at The Strand, slated to open in early 2021
Irvine, Calif. (January 16, 2020) - MBK Rental Living and DesCor Builders announced that construction is underway at The Strand, a two- and three-story garden-style apartment community located in West Sacramento. Offering upscale living with easy access to the capital city, the MBK Rental Living community will include 408 apartment units with studio, one-, two- and three-bedroom options. Sacramento metro-based DesCor Builders is the general contractor.
Located on more than 20 acres at Lighthouse Drive and Douglas Street within the Rivers master-planned community, The Strand will offer residents multiple floor plans with units ranging from 562 square feet for studios to 673 to 1187 square feet for the one-, two- and three-bedrooms. Each apartment unit will feature luxury interior finishes including modern cabinetry, quartz countertops, stainless-steel G.E. appliances and distinctive wood-style flooring. Community amenities will include a clubhouse, two pools and a spa, fitness center, dog park and playground.

The apartment community will offer easy access to West Sacramento's 11 miles of river frontage and 60-mile bike network, as well as many dining, entertainment and cultural destinations in the immediate neighborhood and downtown Sacramento, including Sutter Health Park. The Strand residents will be able to conveniently connect to transportation corridors and employment centers, such as the California State Teachers' Retirement System West Sacramento campus, which is currently adding a new 10-story, more than 250,000-square-foot tower.
